How I start my CI/TPRS- experience sharing

Post by WenchingChiang » Fri Aug 18, 2017 10:34 pm

7th grade public school
35 minutes a lesson/ two-day rotation
3 classes, 11 students, 29 students and 22 students
I only got to teach these four units last year. Students used EVERY reading and writing materials from ZBM. There are about 9 reading activities and 5 reading activities. The routine is oral input --> reading story --> reading activities (following the order of Wu Laoshi' design, from R1, R2, R3....; then writing 1, 2, 3, 4,5) Please see the link of my students' writing. ... dQRGhNY2V3
Unit 0: Doufuman
Unit 1: Who is cool
Unit 2: Tasty Salad
Unit 3: But I don't want to drink coffee with you

1. 建立一个容易的Reward System--Point card

Thank you SOOOO much for sharing! Can you tell me about Wu Laoshi's design? Or where I can find resources to learn about this?

This is the Zhongwen Bu Mafan series of what are now called Lesson Packs. We have been testing the same content for four years just as TPRS stories, but now they are being expanded with more resources to allow more options for teachers.

Wu Laoshi is on this forum from time to time, she can also explain more I think. :D
